Travel in Style
This holiday season, along with the decorating, the gifting, and best of all, the yummy food, we do our fair share of travel. Whether you are in the car for an hour or two, or flying across the country, having outfits that are travel friendly can make a huge difference.
Here are our requirements for a travel ready wardrobe:
- Wrinkle resistant
- Easy to pack
- Versatile
- Comfortable
- And, as always, flattering, feel good, and maybe just a dash of FUN
Here are a few of our poppy & dot travel picks!

The Avila Utility Joggers - I don’t have the words to tell you how much I love these joggers! My last trip included a cross country flight and these were a dream on the plane! I also attended a college rugby game that went from 75 and sunny to pouring rain, and the joggers were absolute perfection for the crazy weather. Bonus: you can throw them in the dryer! No hang dry requirements for these babies.

The Suzy Casual Dress - We are big fans of the casual t-shirt elastic waist dress! The fabric is dreamy and soft. And for travel, it ticks every box! Wear it with tennies or strappy heels. Add a great sweater as temps drop and a cute pair of booties. The possibilities are endless!

The Powell Jumpsuit - This jumpsuit is my everything. Flowy, (aka I could eat ALL the food without feeling my pants get tighter and tighter) wrinkle-free, and so much FUN! I paired it with the Auburn bodysuit to balance out the flowy with a little dash of fitted. Plus, walking around NYC the unique style helped me feel like more of a local and less of a tourist!

The Richmond Striped Sweater - Every vacation needs a good sweater! The Richmond is lightweight enough to pack well without all the bulk, but adds a little warmth to the chilly holidays. The striping adds some fun and the colors are neutral enough to be paired with all your bottoms. (We love it with our joggers so, so much!)

The Katy and/or Hyde Tee - A good, basic tee is an absolute must! I love the fit and feel of these long sleeved beauties. Wear them under sweaters, rompers, or let them stand alone. The only rule is, there are no rules with a wardrobe essential like these!
